What Is Futures Unwalled?

Futures Unwalled is a Southern California nonprofit that provides direct, hands-on support to families navigating special education, mental health systems, and community resources.

We work with families who are overwhelmed, not being heard, or unsure what to do next. Our role is to step in, help make sense of the situation, and support families in taking the next steps with clarity and confidence.

What We Do

IEP & School Advocacy

We support families throughout the IEP and 504 process. This includes reviewing records, identifying gaps in services, preparing for meetings, and helping parents advocate effectively.

Care Coordination & System Navigation

We help families navigate across systems, including schools, mental health, and community-based services. We focus on connecting families to the right support and helping them move forward.

Ongoing Support

We provide continued support to help families stay organized, follow through, and track progress over time.

Why It Matters

Families are often left to figure everything out on their own. We make sure they don’t have to.

Our approach is practical, trauma-informed, and based on lived experience. We focus on real support that helps families move forward.
