Ashley Mehr

Ashley Mehr is the Founder and Board President of Futures Unwalled. She is a parent of children with disabilities, including a daughter with autism. As someone with ADHD, Ashley understands the challenges families face when navigating school, healthcare, and community supports. She founded Futures Unwalled to help children with disabilities and their families overcome barriers, access resources, and receive the support they need. She has a a background in Health Information Management and healthcare. She understands the challenges families face when navigating complex systems like education and healthcare.

Waukecha Wilkerson

Waukecha is a committed advocate for families navigating complex educational and developmental systems. As a mother of three with diverse learning needs —including a son on the autism spectrum and a daughter with ADHD— she has managed the IEP process for all of her children while juggling her own later-in-life ADHD diagnosis and various other circumstances that have shaped her resilience and perspective. With more than a decade of experience in coaching, program design, and equity-centered leadership, she works to create pathways that honor families’ strengths and challenges. Waukecha is the CEO of Won’t She Do It (WSDI) and she joined the board of Futures Unwalled to help expand support, understanding, and dignity for families experiencing barriers.

Erin Jimenez

Erin Jimenez is a special education advocate and parent coach. She has nearly a decade of experience in education advocacy. Erin grew up in rural California. She understands the importance of having support when navigating school, healthcare, and community services. Erin is the parent of two sons with autism. She brings both personal and professional insight to her work supporting families and helping children access critical services. Erin co-established the founding board of Futures Unwalled to help break barriers and build futures for children with disabilities and their families.
